i dont know why some people's favorite is pizza.

My favorite Thai is the sticks. (oh wait...you said food).
Ok seriously, I love a korean spicy fish soup called Jiam Bong. That stuff will put hair on your chest. Wonderful and spicy.
But, my aboslute favorite is Linguini with white clam sauce. Put a little fresh black pepper on top and parmesian cheese. Heaven.

for me it was the entire def leopard hysteria album - bad heavy metal told it was demonic, i listened to it in secret, silk's "freak me" - a virgin listening to a song about hot sex?

You had the Beach Boys!!!!!!!!!! We would have killed for the Beach Boys!!!! All we were allowed at our parties was the Kingdom Melodies.
But we had all 10 albums and as a special treat, and if we were really good, we were allowed to sing along with the Bethel family singing "From House to House" on side b of album 10.
(just kidding of course. No, actually, I think there were a couple of parties like that come to think of it).
I've always liked "Fear them Not". The story is that it was written by a brother in a concentration camp. Now, I don't know if it's true, but if it is, the words are very powerful.
Most of my favorites are in the old pink songbook. I guess that's the one I grew up with and am used to.
